<![CDATA[ORF funktioniert via Mediathekviewweb.de nicht (via Software schon!)]]>Auf meinem Mac können seit heute Vormittag über Mediathekviewweb.de (Browser Google Chrome) keine ORF-Sendungen mehr gespeichert werden (keine Dateien, nach Speicher-Versuch “Netzwerkfehler”). Über die MV-Software (Version 13.0.6) funktioniert das Speichern von ORF-Sendungen aber einwandfrei.

try it ! if i remember it right,IF,you can download some EU Gb Usa channels after free registration and if you become “premium”,its very cheap and the quality is not like MV ,sometimes is bad.
But you can be premium for wide under 20,-/year ,download traffic costs ,but in germany from 00 .00 am to 8.00 am downloads are under some conditions free. i use it since years.after a few days mostly of the films are cutted in several formats.Try it,you and your wife will love it.

Meine Bedenken, in diesem Forum Proxy- und VPN-Möglichkeiten zur Umgehung von Geoblocking zu diskutieren, ändern sich deshalb nicht. Wenn ein Copyrightholder einen Inhalt nur innerhalb eines begrenzten Gebiets zur Verfügung stellt, ist der Bypass eine Copyright-Verletzung, also bleibt eventueller Ärger an den Betreibern dieser Seite hängen.

Ganz einfach per “pip install mediathekview_change_downloads_to_http” zu installieren. Entwickelt und getestet (vorerst mal nur auf GNU/Linux). Feedback welcome.

Wenn ich schon dabei bin: mit Zieldateiname %DT%d %s - %t - %T -ORIGINAL- %N.mp4 benennt https://github.com/novoid/guess-filename.py die ORF-Dateien sinnvoll um und prüft sogar die Datei-Größe auf Plausibilität (abgebrochene Downloads).

If it’s not geoblocked there is no need of a special action, but if it is, any bypass is nothing else but a copyright infringement. In my opinion the whole profit-driven copyright-paranoia is ridiculous, but because it is illegal, we should not discuss VPN and Cie. in this forum, for the reason, that it could lead into difficulties for the developers of MV.

Ausser CyberGhost gibt es noch x VPN Dienste, es existiert sogar ein Test, welche die besten sind. Juristisch gesehen ist Geoblocking dasselbe wie Kopierschutz, und das zu umgehen wird, zumindest von deutschen Gerichten, als Copyright-Verletzung beurteilt. Ich finde MV ein so geiles Programm, dass es mich sehr schmerzen würde, wenn den Entwicklern aus gut gemeinten, aber unbedachten Ratschlägen Schwierigkeiten erwachsen würden.

Man kann in einem solchen Fall auch mal die Forums-Suchfunktion mit dem Suchbegriff “Download ändern” verwenden und dann feststellen, dass bereits das 3. Suchergebnis das Vorgehen mit Screenshots aufzeigt.

Die ORF-Beiträge vor letzten Montag könnt ihr dann in MV runterladen, ohne die Einstellungen verändern zu müssen.
Für die Filmlisten ab vergangenen Montag müsst ihr dann den Workaround bemühen…

I don’t even need my VPN service (VPN Unlimited) to download the geoblocked files. I was assuming that Arte only applies geoblocking through their webpages rather than at file level. I use ‘Flashget Version 1.9.6.1073’ an old freeware download manager to save files.

@sheldon When using my VPN service, if I attempt to watch or download a ‘cms-austria’ file, nothing happens with ‘https’ and with ‘http’ I only get the file ‘geoprotection_Q8C.mp4’.

Zunächst mal Danke für die Hilfe!

Das Download-Ändern-Fenster kann man wohl nicht VOR einem Download-Versuch öffnen, sondern erst wenn der (bspw. fehlgeschlagene) Download im MV-Download-Fenster auftaucht (oder ginge es doch, dass man schon vor einem Download die URL editiert? ;-) )

Mir ist hierbei eines aufgefallen: wenn die Zeile im MV-Download-Fenster rot hinterlegt ist, kann man den Download nicht editieren. Abhilfe: Kurz das Download-Symbol on/off Klicken, damit die Zeile nicht mehr rot ist. Nur dann funktioniert das editieren (hier dann die Workaround-Hilfen “http-s” usw. bemühen, dann klapp der ORF-Download mittels MV-Software). Vielleicht bin ich nicht der einzige Trottel hier, der das mit dem Editieren nicht so ganz geschnallt hatte…

Und sheldon, ich frage nochmal verständnishalber nach: Bei den ORF-Beiträgen mit Geoblocking sind auch Dir die Hände gebunden, oder? Denn die zwei Videos hier sind ja beide ohne Geoblocking (beide Videos sind die Varianten von cms-worldwide/online).
